An outpouring of Canadian patriotism hit the streets of this Olympic city today. Hockey is "Canada's Game" as the ads on TV will tell you. Today, the Canadian men's ice hockey team won the final gold medal that was awarded at the Olympics. Celebration ensued! People expressing their patriotism and love for one another. They loved each other despite their differences in class, race, or gender. If you are Canadian, today was your day. Everyone is a Canadian, everyone is loved. It was a nice moment where all Canadians on the streets were truly equals! I'll take it!
